I have a relation with Raj Kapoor. No no he is not my maternal uncle. Neigther i had the opportunity to touched his hand in my teenage. He even died much before i became a teenage. The relation is that after bought a tv in our house in early 90's 1st film telecasted in doordarshan was Shree 420. i was only 8 at that time so it is obvious that i understand that i understand the language but not the film. I sang the song but couldnot understand the satire behind the song 'mera juta hai japani/ ye patlung englishtani/ sar pe lal topi russi/ phir bhi dil hai hundustani'. Because i so his film first, he was my first favourite hero before amitabh bachchan, rajesh khanna or my days hero aamir khan and salman khan. After growing up i saw all his famous movies like 'Aag', 'Anari', 'Awara', 'Chori Chori', 'Boot Polish', 'Barsaat', 'Tisri Kasam', 'Jis desh me ganga behti hai', 'Mera Nam Jokar' etc and realize why he is called the showman of Indian cinema or Charli Chaplin of India.
Raj kapoor was a modern man. He was foresighted foresightedly he could thought about future, this is one of the great qualities of him. Hence he choose subject like class conflict or social taboos when people were busy with making films on epic or myth. He was the masihah of the poor. He tried to give justice to the lower class people of the society in his film. He showed the real india in his films. He was a real marxist. So he was as popular in russia as in india. His film 'Awara' was superhit in both India and Russia. Even Russian people used to dance on the title song 'Awara hun'. In 'Awara' RK created Charli Chaplin image. We saw this image in his other films like Shri 420 or Mera Naam Jokar.
In 1956 one of his ambitious project 'Jagte raho' was released but due to some unknown reason audience didnot except it. He was very hurt but didnot give up making films on social issues. In 70's he released his most expensive and researched and 4 hour long film 'Mera Naam Jokar'. Since the film was too long it turned as the greatest disester in bollywood.
For the first time he used nudity as an art in indian cinema. Whether it's his own acted film 'Barsaat', 'Mera Naam Jokar' or his directed 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' , 'Ram Teri Ganga maili' or 'Bobby'. RK showed the difference between nudity aru obscenity. He used the light and shade very poetically and beautifuly in Barsaat. He showed the body art of then hot model Zeenat Aman in 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' and breaking all the rules of industry he permit kissing on screen. He became the showman of indian film industry.
R.K. was a craftman. He was an actor, director and producer. He also had a very good knowlegde of music. He played harmonium, piano, accordian tabla etc. He even asked his best composer shankar-jaikishan to changed some theme in his film. SJ never allowed anyone to interfare on their work but they also accpted RK's advice seriously.
But the journey was not so smooth for the eldest son of famous actor Prithviraj Kapoor.
He started his career with director Kedar Sarma as a clapper boyin 1942. In his set Kedar Sharma once saw that Raj is not doing his work well and slapped him for it. Kedar Sharma first debued him in 1947 with majestic beauty madhubala in 'Neel Kamal'. Thenext year he started his own films studio and released his first directorial debue in 'Aag' with Nargis in 1948. after 'Aag' Raj Kapoor Nargis became the best romantic pair ever in bollywood. After that they did lots of hit films. And after 'Aag' raj never stopped till his death in 2nd june 1988.
he became the epitome for the young actors and film-makers.

Enough is enough. Stop the lovebirds to celebrate valentine day because it is not our culture, then attack Jaya Bachchan because she spoke Hindi in Mumbai instead of Marathi, then Karan Johar because he used Bombay not Mumbai in his film, Mumbai is for Marathi’s only so no outsiders can work there and this time Shahrukh is there newest target. Because he said he is ready to hire a player from Pakistan in his team in IPL. So they will not allow to show his film My Name Is Khan in Mumbai. Why should Shahrukh apologize for his word? Is he doing anything wrong? He is a citizen of India and he or any Indian have the right to speak anything in our country and this right has given us by the constitution of India and no Shivsena or anyone else can’t stop us to use our right. This can never be a way. We cannot accept this type of thing. I am not a die hard fan of king khan. But I cannot accept Shivsena’s hypocrisy. Shivsena is targeting shahrukh to save there sinking boat. This is there politics nothing else. Bal thakre’s most worthless son Urdhav Thakre is trying to prove himself. This is a good sign that every media, lot of intellectual people and many people from Bollywood even some of shahrukh’s rivals also stand besides him on this situation. But I think every Indian should stand besides him, should stand against all this type of parasite of the society. Until and unless we fear him they will try to dominate the society. Everyone should go to watch shahrukh’s movie My Name Is Khan and make the movie hit. All these people like shivsena are actually the over ground terrorist and these are more dangerous than underground one. We should stop them and save our nation. This is the high time to get up from sleep. Its not the matter of Shahrukh, it’s the matter of society. If we don’t stop they will continue these type of ridiculous things.

Should We Accept It?

Some days back Diganta da (executive editor of satsory, diganta oza) asked me what I think about 377. I told him that I iam not a supporter of it and also I am not fully against of it. I am not against of it because I am a die hard fan of Alton John. And I started watching tennis with Martina Navratilova’s game. Both are homo and lez. List is very long. There are lot more my favorite person who have this ‘nawabi shakh’. But I could not yet support it from my heart because it’s a new concept and we are not habituate to accept new things in the beginning. But Diganta da told that he couldn’t accept it because some boundations are needed for a discipline society...

Last Wednesday I felt how true his words were about. I was very busy in my works that day because Wednesday is our production day and we have to finish all the works till midnight. Suddenly one girl sent me a hello massage in my gtalk. Oh I forgot to mention that she sent me a friend request yesterday and it was my fault that I accept it. I don’t know she is really a girl or boy. After one or two talk she asked me what I am wearing. I was just shocked by her question because its beyond my imagination that an unknown girl could ask me a question like that. After that she keep asking me one by one some very embarrassing questions. I was very embarrassed and my ears were hot at that time and I lost all my concentrations at work. Its not that first time I am facing such type of situation. I stayed in hostel when I was a student of journalism studies. A girl whom we doubt to be a lesbian used to irritate us. But in online its my first experience. I scrolled her for these dirty talks and asked her to stop it. But ignoring my words she kept on sending me that type of irritating massage in my gtalk. Then I told her that I am neither a lesbian nor I have any interest in these things. But she didn’t stop and sent more and more lines. These were so dirty even I feel ashamed when I remember it. Ultimately I ought to delete her from my contact.

Than I feel really its not a good sign. Its not impossible to feel mental or intellectual attraction for a girl or for a boy for the same sex. But what is the ultimate thing? We cannot deny the ‘basic instinct’. When we talk of it can we allow it? If this is called freedom than we don’t want this type of freedom. Freedom does not mean scattered situation. What Deepa Mehta shows in her film ‘Fire’ is totally different thing. The situation is very different If someone finds peace with a same sex person then its not bad. But it should not be forceful. Many people from many field try to abuse others forcefully. It is not acceptable. Some days back we got the news of the IAS officer who was caught by some media camera when he tried to do sex with his male employees. And most of the cases are like this only. Withdrawn of 377 will permit these people to do these crime openly. We cannot support them. For the sake of a discipline society we cannot accept it…
